Scandoc Imaging are experts with scanning large format residential and commercial construction documents, architectural renderings, engineering drawings, architectural perspective drawings, maps or other large format technical drawings.
Our special large format scanning service includes cleanup of background noise on older drawings, rotation of the image for best viewing, background suppression and de-skewing of documents. We can create multi-page tiff files and PDF files, or any nearly any other file format you desire, at whatever resolution is required.
To keep the cost of large format scanning low we simply ask that all documents be scanner read, meaning free of tape and staples.
We typically charge by the square foot, and pricing is dependent on the following items:

- The number of indexing fields your company needs. Two indexing fields are included in our initial quote. There is an additional charge for each extra field above that amount.
- The quality of the original document. The better the original, the lower the cost. Very old mylars and sepias with fragile edges take more time to ensure best image quality.
- If necessary, we may build a mylar carrier to protect your documents, and this requires a small additional cost.
The time involved to complete your large format scanning project is determined by the number of documents, as well as the complexity and the condition of your drawings.
